The Hope Closet: Clothing Exchange

On February 8th, 2020, two weeks before the second annual Ontario Human Trafficking Awareness Day, The Hope Closet Clothing Exchange is here to help support victims and survivors of Human Trafficking in the community. Proceeds of the event are going to A New Day Youth & Adult Services. They provide a safe, nonjudgmental restorative residential program to enhance the lives of sex trafficked youth and young adults. CLOTHING EXCHANGE
1) Bring a minimum of 1 item, take as much as you want 🙂
2) Accepted: Tops, bottoms, dresses, skirts, footwear, jewelry,
outerwear, kids clothes, mens clothes
3) NOT accepted: No undies, soiled, or broken items.

ANTI-TRAFFICKING ORGANIZATIONS:
A variety of organizations in Ottawa will be set up with information to learn more about HT, who they are and how you can help.

OTHER ACTIVITIES: Bake Sale, Silent Auction, Raffle & Draw.

There will be a small child play corner provided in the lounge area and all leftover donated items will be given to the Vanier Church Free Store!
