On Sunday May 5, 2019, we are organizing team for a race called “FEEL IT IN YOUR BONES”, a fundraising event for Team Broken Earth. This non-profit organization sends teams of health care professionals to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, for week-long volunteer medical missions, and it needs help to do so! And it was started right here in Canada!!!

You can also have a look at the following website, which chronicles the experience of one of the Ottawa teams, in November 2018 – Mysite Ottawa has had so much interest from the medical community to be a part of the amazing work Team Broken Earth is doing we had a second team just return from another medical mission. Each team that travels to Haiti provides free care to local patients who could not otherwise afford treatment.
*As you can imagine, this type of trip is expensive. The team needs equipment, supplies, and support, as well as the means to cover patient expenses. To this end, the main fundraising event for upcoming Team Ottawa trips will be held at the Pineview Golf Course in Ottawa, Sunday May 5. It is scheduled for afternoon and evening, so your day will look like this:

– BBQ and beers after run to put those calories right back where they really belong!
