On Saturday June 23, APTN will host Indigenous Day Live from Vincent Massey Park (Heron Rd.) in Ottawa as part of the Ottawa Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival that runs from June 21 to 24.
Indigenous Day Live is the largest national celebration in recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day. There are day time celebrations and activities followed by an evening concert (pre-show: 5:30-7:00 p.m./ IDL concert: 7:00-10:00 p.m.).
Hosted by Andrea Brazeau and Dave Jenniss, concert performers include Lido Pimienta, Tom Wilson, Brooke Simpson, Cody Coyote, Mimi O’Bonsawin, Nigel Irwin and more. The concert and pre-show will also air on APTN 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. ET.
