Last week we reached one year since the death of Gord Downie. I hate using the word anniversary because with anniversaries I always think of something happy, something positive.

Many radio stations across Canada blew out their regular playlist and played nothing but Tragically Hip/Gord Downie music. One station even played an unreleased song by the band!

The funny thing about this song is, there is an Ottawa twist to it. This recording is from Barrymore’s Music Hall sometime in the late 80’s.
