You may know him as Mr. D, or Damian, or just ‘D’. He’s been doing his thing behind a microphone since he was 17 years old. His radio career began in his hometown of Toronto, making stops in Calgary, Kitchener, Hamilton, Cornwall and Ottawa.
He is also one of JUMP’s original announcers, as he hosted the evening show for over 11 years. After more than 20 years of being the big voice on the radio at night across Ontario, Mr. D brings his infectious energy to JUMP’s midday show, weekdays from 10 AM to 2 PM. He’s still adjusting to the daytime hours. Not so easy for a ‘Night Owl’.
When D is out of the studio, he enjoys taking road trips, playing video games, and exploring new and fun spots with his wife and son. You may also find him cheering on one of his beloved sports teams at a stadium or arena near you. Just look for the guy wearing a fitted ball cap and a jersey with ‘Mr. D’ on the back.
Mr. D is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Even if he is a Leafs fan.
