Octopied Mind x Thoughts Undone – Virtual Workshop

Stay Woke & Stay Away: Connectivity in a time of separateness

Back by popular demand! While the concept of getting connected (to yourself & others) remains the same, the activities we do, the people you meet and the learning opportunities you encounter will certainly change – So if you’ve attended a workshop of ours in the past, we encourage you to come back and dive a little deeper!

In the midst of panic, fear and the need for community preservation we find ourselves spending more time alone. While time alone is key for self-reflection and growth, restrictions on daily life can induce feelings of cabin-fever and even loneliness.

Let’s get together (virtually) and use this time to explore new ways to connect with ourselves and with others. Through a series of activities and discussions the purpose of this workshop is to get connected, find community and have some fun!

This workshop is a great opportunity for folx outside of Ottawa who have wanted to participate in our past in-person events. By bringing our intentional community space online we open the doors for totally new faces and experiences.

Come as you are – Plus, being vulnerable behind a screen with your own Kleenex box is easier than sharing one in a group setting (especially during a time where we shouldn’t be sharing anything from our bodies except our feelings).

Why: In the midst of panic, fear and the need for community preservation we find ourselves spending more time alone. While time alone is key for self-reflection and growth, restrictions on daily life can induce feelings of cabin-fever and even loneliness.

Who: Sarah from Octopied Mind is passionate about personal development and getting to know the weird & dark corners of our souls. They are partners in crime & have merged their talents to run these incredibly transformative virtual workshops.

What: Everyone arrives into the space feeling an array of emotions (mostly butterflies & anxiety) which is totally expected and very normal! Through a series of activities and discussions the group always finds a way to slowly let go of the things we do to protect ourselves from accessing our greatest potentials. These workshops are designed to transform your darkness into gold and leave you feeling weightless and connected to yourself and others.
