Celebrate Black History Month with Gospel: Out of the Cold Fundraising Concert Feb. 23 7:30 pm
The Big Soul Project (BSP), Ottawa’s largest community choir, will be singing Gospel at a special fund-raising concert for Out of the Cold at Knox Presbyterian Church on Elgin at Lisgar on February 23 at 7:30. The choir under the direction of Roxanne Goodman will be accompanied by its house band Deep Groove and will feature well known soloist Michael Hanna and a rising soloist, Sheril Shaw. Lots of joyful Gospel music with audience participation.
The $20 ticket price will provide dinner for five people on a cold evening at Knox Church in Centretown or St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Old Ottawa South.
