If you think you already pay too much for your internet service, you’re not going to like this. Both Rogers and Bell are increasing their internet prices.
Rogers customers will see their costs rise as of TODAY (March 12th). Rogers will raise prices for most of its internet plans by $8 a month.
For their lowest-price plan (20 megabytes per second), there will be a smaller increase of $4 per month.
As for Bell customers, your increase will begin on April 1st. Their internet prices will rise by $5 a month in Ontario, and $3 a month in Quebec. They will also increase overage charges to $4 per extra gigabyte (currently it’s set at $3).
The reason for the increase? Representatives said in emails that the adjustments help fund improvements in the capabilities of their networks.
